Position Summary:
The Personal Training Manager (PTM) leads the personal training department, driving client engagement, revenue growth, and team performance. The PTM is responsible for hiring, training, and developing trainers, while creating a motivating, results-oriented environment that delivers exceptional member experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing personal training team.
- Drive revenue and client retention through effective programs and sales strategies.
- Deliver and maintain high-quality personal training services.
- Motivate and inspire both staff and clients to achieve fitness goals.
- Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
- Manage scheduling, reporting, and departmental goals.
- Support member outreach and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current CPR certification.
- Nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NESTA, NFPT, IFPA, Cooper Institute).
- Proven success leading a team in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service skills.
- Outgoing, motivational, and competitive personality.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical duties (spotting, lifting, standing, walking).
