Operations Manager

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional member and team experience while driving overall club performance. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting membership sales and retention, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment. The Operations Manager works closely with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure operational excellence, team development, and achievement of business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for members and staff

• Drive member onboarding, integration, and engagement initiatives

• Support membership sales performance and ACH enrollment processes

• Implement retention strategies, including cancel-save efforts and follow-up with former members

• Coach and support staff to improve sales techniques and performance metrics

• Organize member events, social engagement initiatives, and community activities

• Manage operational details including inventory, billing updates, and reporting accuracy

• Conduct weekly leadership meetings with club management to review performance and accountability

• Oversee cleaning systems and facility standards to maintain a safe, clean environment

• Analyze daily and monthly reports to identify improvement opportunities

• Support the General Manager in achieving membership growth and revenue targets

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, positive personality with strong leadership presence

• Sales-driven and customer service oriented

• Experience with member retention strategies and sales processes

• Strong communication and coaching skills

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• Previous leadership or operations experience in fitness, sales, or hospitality preferred
