Pilates Instructor

Job Description

Crunch Fitness is seeking a certified Pilates Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction to members of all fitness levels. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic fitness professional with strong knowledge of Pilates principles, human movement, and injury prevention. Instructors help members improve strength, posture, flexibility, and overall wellness while creating a motivating, inclusive class environment aligned with Crunch's "No Judgments" philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging group Pilates classes using mat techniques

• Assess client fitness levels, goals, and needs to guide training approaches

• Ensure proper form and technique to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury

• Modify exercises for various abilities, injuries, or special conditions

• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and motivating class environment

• Educate members on body awareness, posture, and core strength

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of studio and equipment

• Stay current with industry trends and continuing education

Qualifications:

• Certified Pilates Instructor (Balanced Body, STOTT, BASI, Peak Pilates, or equivalent)

• Certified Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA or ACE)

• CPR Certification required

• Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and fitness principles

• Excellent communication and motivational skills

• Ability to adapt workouts for diverse fitness levels and special populations

• Prior experience teaching group or private classes preferred

• Availability to teach evening classes
