Job Title: Babysitter

Job Summary:
The Babysitter is responsible for ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents or guardians are using the fitness facility. This role involves supervising children, facilitating fun activities, and providing excellent customer service to parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome children and parents with a friendly attitude
- Ensure secure check-in and check-out of all children
- Monitor children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Engage children in interactive play, games, or age-appropriate crafts
- Calmly handle fussiness, minor disputes, or behavioral concerns
- Follow all parental instructions, including dietary, health, or nap needs
- Keep the child care area clean and sanitized, including toys and play surfaces
- Remove and report any hazards to ensure a safe environment
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with parents/guardians
- Know and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with child care-related projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience caring for children ages 1–12 preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (Child/Infant) — required or ability to obtain
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and positive in a fast-paced environment
