Position Summary:
As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will lead safe, effective, and engaging group exercise classes that motivate and energize members. You’ll bring passion, personality, and professionalism to every session while delivering Crunch’s signature high-quality fitness experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group fitness classes as scheduled, following approved formats
- Deliver fun, energetic, and results-driven workouts aligned with Crunch brand standards
- Modify exercises and routines for varying fitness levels and abilities
- Set up and break down class equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Greet and interact with class participants to build rapport and encourage return attendance
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive environment
- Stay current with industry trends and certifications
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and required continuing education sessions
Qualifications:
- Current Group Fitness Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, etc.)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Prior group teaching experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor
- Ability to lead various formats (e.g., HIIT, Strength, Dance, Cycle, Yoga, Pilates, etc.) is a plus
