During trauma or rapid turnover, the Onsite Specialist must swiftly stage surgical carts and ensure all instruments are ready, demanding rapid problem-solving and excellent organizational skills to maintain uninterrupted surgical support.

Many advance toward biomedical equipment technician roles, clinical application specialists, or supervisory positions, leveraging hands-on expertise with surgical technology and operational coordination gained onsite.

Stryker fosters a collaborative and innovative environment, motivating Onsite Specialists to deliver precise technical support while embracing continuous learning and contributing to life-saving surgical procedures.

Yes, Stryker mandates obtaining CRCST certification within six months of hire, emphasizing compliance with healthcare sterilization standards, which may be more stringent than some competitors’ prerequisites.

Onsite Specialists in Lewisville typically earn between $52,000 and $68,000 annually, influenced by the region's growing healthcare sector and demand for skilled surgical support technicians.

Given the requirement to be within 45 minutes' drive, local traffic patterns and distance significantly impact readiness for rotating and overnight on-call duties, making proximity a key factor in scheduling.

Competition is moderate to high due to expanding surgical centers, but candidates with CRCST certification and hands-on OR experience often find enhanced opportunities amid growing demand.
