Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff. This role ensures that all areas of the gym are cleaned and sanitized regularly and that supplies are stocked to uphold Crunch’s standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the club including locker rooms, workout areas, equipment, restrooms, and front desk
- Disinfect surfaces and equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Empty trash receptacles and restock toiletries and cleaning supplies
- Follow checklists to ensure all areas are cleaned on a consistent schedule
- Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to member concerns professionally
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
- Work collaboratively with staff to support overall club operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Willingness to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
- Availability to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
