Position Overview:
The Maintenance Cleaner plays a critical role in ensuring the club is clean, safe, and operating smoothly. This position is responsible for daily cleaning tasks, light maintenance, and helping provide an outstanding facility experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties in all areas of the club including restrooms, locker rooms, gym floors, equipment, and common areas
- Regularly sanitize equipment, surfaces, and high-touch areas
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Complete light maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing bulbs, tightening fixtures, reporting issues)
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout all shifts
- Respond to maintenance requests and incidents promptly and professionally
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be physically able to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
